Ed Lover

Ed Lover is synonymous with entertainment. A legendary pillar in the entertainment industry Ed Lover, an actor, musician, comedian, DJ, and a syndicated radio personality. Additionally Ed is an instrumental leader in media and television pioneering the global exposure of Hip Hop music and life style via Yo MTV Raps.

Before reaching his fame on MTV, Ed Lover was part of an eccentric and deliberately enigmatic hip-hop collective called No Face. In 1990 No Face released their album Wake Your Daughter Up on their self-titled label that was an imprint of Def Jam Records. Wake your daughter up had two successful singles “Fake-Hair Wearin Bitch” and “Half”. Half was an instant success for Ed Lover and No Face. However, Ed had bigger plans for himself and his future in entertainment.

After leaving No Face Ed Lover partnered up with Doctor Dre and embarked on a co-hosting opportunity on MTV’s Yo! MTV Raps which later became a mainstream platform for Rap Music Videos in the 90’s.

The Ed & Dre alliance lead to hosting nationally syndicated The Morning Show with Ed, Lisa, and Dre on New York radio station Hot 97. Ed & Dre added acting to their list of talents by starring in New Line Cinema’s Who’s the Man. Who’s the Man was largely successful and the duo continued to release music, act and perform for well over a decade.

Ed Lover continues to impact all forms of entertainment from radio, comedy, television, film, to technology. Hosting, morning radio “ The Ed Lover Morning Show”; making appearances on a plethora of sitcoms and commercials (AT&T’s commercial for Beats, ABC’s sitcom “Fresh Of The Boat”,TruTV’s “Friends of the People”, CNN the 80’s, Ricky Smiley For Real not to mention being the host of Gotham Comedy Live (AX’sTV)) while touring the nation as a stand up comedian.

“ Just being me and my belief in God is what has gotten me this far”, says Ed. “ It’s not easy being or staying relevant in this business, you have to learn to reinvent yourself” and reinvent himself he has.

Ed has permeated pop culture and the world with his hilarious web series C’mon Son that pokes fun at celebrities, pop culture, politics and the world. C’mon Son has over 5 million Youtube views, a Facebook fan page with over 150,00 subscribers and roughly 200,000 following on Twitter. C’Mon Son has been embraced by the millennial generation inviting new and younger Ed Loverfans. Ed’s love for entertainment and radio has lead to him successfully host shows on all three major stations in New York City Hot 97, 105.1 and 98.7 Kiss FM, Los Angeles, SiriusXM, and Philadelphia’s 100.3, syndicated “The Ed Lover Show” Boom and The Ed Lover Morning Show of 104 3 Jams Chicago. This Hip Hop Hall of Famer; Ed Lover has been and continues to be a global iconic figure in The World Of Entertainment.

Bryce Wilson’s Biography

A multi-faceted trailblazer, two – time Grammy Award-winning Producer Bryce Wilson has laid a concrete foundation within multiple genres. His production expertise has stamped an imprint on the recording careers of music superstars; namely Beyonce, Mary J. Blige, Whitney Houston, Lupe Fiasco and Toni Braxton. Wilson’s collective work has resulted in 50 million sales internationally. Bryce has achieved two Billboard number one’s as a writer in 2015, Secondcity’s “I wanna feel”, which went #1 in the UK and No. 2 on billboard dance charts and Wale’s “The glass egg”. He conceptually merged with legendary deejay Junior Sanchezto form the multimedia label, Brobot. The mission of Brobot is to develop and nurture emerging talent.

Bryce has successfully leveraged his music platform by entering into the tech space to create a diversified business portfolio that includes Sound Ventures Technology and Twtmob. As a partner and strategic consultant, Wilson has helped raise the brand profile of Twtmob, a social influencer advertising platform into an interactive viral powerhouse with celebrity partnerships ranging from Diddy to Kim Kardashian, and garners over 200 million impressions per day.

Using music as a vehicle, Bryce Wilson has also helped to manage the careers of superstars like Brandy, The Game, and Lupe Fiasco. He simultaneously sculpted their images by securing corporate partnerships and applying strategic marketing tools to both drive and further assist them in capitalizing on their careers.

Teaming up with Josh Pickard of The GreenApple Group and restaurateur/ lifestyle impressario Serge Becker (Ms. Lily’s, La Esquina, and The Box), Wilson also acts as one of the majority owners of the West Village live music club Joe’s Pub (NYC), a nightlife staple for over fourteen years. He’s previously invested with his partners in Volume, a club establishment formerly located in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.

Weaving a thread amongst his music production, marketing and entrepreneurial ventures, Wilson has expanded his scope to include the fields of retail and commercial real estate. He has provided consulting to enterprising business models including Georgia by G NY, a revered salon and hair-care product line based in New York. He has also provided strategic consulting to Magic Johnson Enterprises.

Conscious of his global footprint, Bryce Wilson is active on social and entertainment related boards and committees including the Grammy Board (Los Angeles Chapter), Children Uniting Nations and Shine on Sierra Leone.

Biography

Kameelah Williams, aka, Meelah was born & raised in Las Vegas, Nevada. Ironically enough she became the lead singer of the multi platinum trio 702, which is the Las Vegas area code.

Meelah was deemed the voice of the group by her position as lead vocalist on 702s chart topping singles such as the Missy Elliott produced “Steelo” & the infectious ladies’ anthem “Where My Girls At”, which stayed in the top 20 for more than 30 weeks on Billboard’s top 40 pop chart, earning a nomination for an American Music Award. Her sultry lead vocals were also displayed on an array of other 702 hits including the R&B top 10 power ballad “Get It Together”.

Meelah went on to lend her vocals on the Missy Elliott, Timbaland produced, hit single “Beep Me 911”, featuring 702, where she & Missy shared the lead vocal spotlight. Meelah also sang lead vocals alongside Pharrell Williams on 702s understated, yet riveting record, “I Still Love You”.

Once 702 disbanded Meelah spread her solo wings and began contributing her vocals to other recording artists projects. She was featured on the song “Take Away” with Missy Elliott & Genuine and collaborated with several of her industry peers including artists such as Macy Gray.

Not only has Meelah made an impactful contribution to the music industry, she’s also tapped into the world of reality tv and starred in TVOne’s R&B Divas ATL Season 3. During this time she released a single called “Give it to You” f/ Musiq Soul child and shot a music video for it, as seen on the BET Soul network (formerly VH1 Soul).

In addition to her musical talents Meelah is also a passionate Autism advocate. To raise awareness for Autism & Special Needs she established a 501c3 non profit organization in honor of her son, who was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder at the age of 4. Her foundation is called P.R.O.U.D (Parents Reaching Out to Understand Developmental Delays) Inspired by her son, Meelah collaborated on a children’s project called, “We Are Different”, which is available on iTunes and amazon.com.

Meelah recently signed a deal with Soulstar/eOne. Currently Meelah is in studio recording her debut solo album set to be released fall 2017
